The Last Day 2015!

Well the last day of term 4 2015 is finally here. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holidays and look forward to seeing you all in 2016.

Year 8 Big Day Out!

What an amazing day we had with a great group of kids. We caught the train into town, had lunch, went ten pin bowling, caught the train back to New Lynn and had a yummy dinner at Lone Star. Thank you Year 8's for a fabulous day!

Rainbows End!

On Monday a group of leaders from the Senior School spent a wet but fun day at Rainbows End.

This week we has to do taekwondo outside on the courts. Here are some of the moves we have been learning.

Room 2's Art!

Room 2 have been working hard on their Art creating 'Cultural Circles' which they are experimenting with a variety of cultural patterns. They learnt about Complemtary Colours and will use blending teqhniques and finish with a bright vibrant circular painting! 

Congratulations to Shadonae (Rm 1) and Nantan (Rm 3) who will present their speeches at our 60th Jubilee next Friday.

Our 3 students tried their very hardest and should be really proud of their efforts but we just were not good enough on the day!

We're all looking forward to next weeks 60th jubilee celebration!!! Enjoy your weekend.

William Pike Challenge...

Our Year 8 students spent this morning at Paradice Ice Skating in Avondale as their next William Pike Challenge. Everyone had a lot of fun and although many were a bit reluctant at first, by the end of the session ALL students had managed to skate by themselves!!
